My name is Mary Mkrtchyan, and I’m currently a student and the social media lead for the FLY Youth Team. My family has been involved with FLY for years and I’ve always admired the incredible work they’ve done to help others strengthen our community. I’ve always loved giving and being part of something that makes a real difference. When I visited Armenia, seeing the difficult conditions many families were living in truly broke my heart. I knew I wanted to do something to help and when I heard that FLY had created a Youth Team, I was so excited to join. FLY means so much to me because it allows me to give back to those in need, especially in our homeland, and to be part of a community that inspires kindness, hope and compassion. I want to carry that same spirit of giving forward and continue working towards positive change for others.
