“I used to pray that God would feed the hungry, or do this or that, but now I pray that he will guide me to do whatever I’m supposed to do, what I can do. I used to pray for answers, but now I’m praying for strength. I used to believe that prayer changes things, but now I know that prayer changes us and we change things.”
– Mother Theresa
“ I am forever grateful to God to have found my true purpose in this life. I have found no greater joy in the world than serving the Lord and His beautiful children. My heart is with every single child suffering in the world. I have big dreams and plans for the future. Yes, suffering and poverty are prominent in our world, but I believe that all of us have the power to do something about it. I envision a world where love and joy conquer poverty and suffering. With God’s will, I know in my heart that my dreams will come to life with the support of great people like you. Together, hand in hand, let’s all work to create a new world for our children and redirect their destiny.”
Karoline Kouzouian Samuelian was born in Aleppo, Syria and is the youngest of four children. She was raised with a strong faith in Christianity, gifted to her by her grandmother Zakieh, who became her life’s role model and inspiration. She taught her the treasure of God’s love and the beauty of giving. Although she passed away a long time ago, she has had and still continues to have one of the greatest impacts on Karoline’s life till today.
At the age of thirteen, Karoline moved to the United States with her family. She got married to Vasken Samuelian and had a beautiful daughter named Alina. In 1995, Karoline became the President/Owner of Giorgio Cosani menswear.
As a child, she always loved helping others, especially people whom she felt were powerless and helpless in life. As she grew older, her passion for helping people in need grew along with her. Her heart goes out most to the innocent children and orphans suffering from poverty and war. She believes that every child can make a difference in the world and that no innocent child deserves to suffer. With God’s calling, she founded the Freedom Loving Youth – FLY charity to give herself and others the opportunity to make a remarkable difference and make this world a better place.
